Trudy finds it hard to believe that she has worked at PNTB since 1994. Prior to joining the team, she worked in the trauma unit at Legacy Emanuel Hospital where she saw firsthand the positive impact the gift of donation had on families who experience the sudden loss of a loved one. “The donation and transplant experience reinforces for me that human connections are at the core of our very existence. Donation and transplantation crosses over all the arbitrary boundaries of race, color, and creed, and demonstrates in bold and loving terms that we need each other.” You can find Trudy doing her favorite things when not at work. These include dragon boat racing with other like-minded women and “otherwise racing” to keep up with her five grandchildren.
