Tashina Sharp
Organ Procurement Coordinator
Tashina joined PNTB as an organ donation coordinator in July of 2009. She previously worked in the neuro-surgical-trauma ICU at Emanuel Hospital. “I am proud to be part of the donation process, and my favorite part of being a coordinator is working alongside the incredible professionals in hospitals toward a common goal that improves so many lives.” Tashina moved to Portland with her husband from Wyoming. They had a daughter, Mia, a year later. Tashina says “Mia is way smarter than me, so I try to keep up with her in my free time.” They also have a dog, Track, who makes for a great running buddy.
It is illegal to buy or sell human organs and tissue for transplant in the United States (Public Law 98-507).
