Reuben joined PNTB in February 2009 after more than seven years in critical care. Reuben finds work at PNTB very rewarding, from working with a dedicated team to make organ donation a reality, to comforting a grieving family, to learning of a person’s recovery after transplant. “I am amazed by the transformation of a donor family’s grief to gratitude, growth, and healing as they see that the gift of life continues and that their loved one did not die in vain.” Originally from North Dakota, Reuben loves living in Oregon and, when not working, he enjoys a road trip to almost anywhere to hike, watch a sunset at the coast, practice photography, and seek out a new restaurant. At home he enjoys running, hanging out with friends, and cooking.
