Paula began her career at PNTB in July of 1999, taking a few sabbaticals over the years; first with the birth of her son and then to complete her masters of nursing. Prior to joining the PNTB team, she worked in the emergency department and various critical care units. She always returned to PNTB because “I believe in the mission of our organization; to save and enhance lives through organ donation. I enjoy my colleagues and the satisfaction that comes from working with donor families. I appreciate the challenges of working with different hospital professionals at our multiple donor hospitals, ranging from small community facilities to large teaching institutions.” In her free time she volunteers at her children’s schools, assists with community fund-raisers, loves to take long walks with her dogs, and takes zumba classes.
