Andrew Jeckell

Andrew worked as a paramedic in California for five years prior to starting his career in organ donation. During his time as a paramedic, he became familiar with emergency patient management as well as working with critically ill patients. His interests evolved to transplant medicine where he could translate his background in emergency patient care into live-saving transplantation. “I’m inspired by the altruism displayed by families in the midst of tragedy. Being able to offer some measure of solace and hope is a rewarding experience.“ In his off time, Andrew can be found spending time outdoors hiking, camping, backpacking, and shooting photography.
