Craig Van De Walker
Director of Operation
Craig joined the PNTB team as an organ procurement coordinator in 2003 and changed roles to department director in 2006. Before working at PNTB, he was the Director of the Respiratory Therapy Department and Sleep Center for Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. Craig “loves working in an area of healthcare where there is a tangible outcome – not only in saving lives through organ donation, but also in the opportunity to give families who have lost a loved one the possibility of something positive from their loss.” When not at work, Craig spends time working out, doing martial arts, and building cars.
An estimated 12,000 people who die each year meet the criteria for organ donation, but less than half become organ donors.
