The Pacific Northwest Transplant Bank is the federally designated organ procurement organization serving Oregon, Southwest Washington and Western Idaho. It is part of the United Network for Organ Sharing's Region 6, which includes all of Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana and Alaska.

Our staff work with hospitals to ensure collaboration on organ and tissue donation. We provide support to donor families and ensure clear communication between the donor family and recipient. And that's just the beginning.

As of May 22, 2014, 122,799 patients are waiting for lifesaving organs nationwide.

866 people are waiting at Oregon transplant centers.

Nationwide, in the first two months of this year, 1,349 deceased organ donors have provided 3,641 organs for transplant.

Nationwide, in the first two months of this year, 1,789 people were removed from the waiting list because they died or became too sick to transplant.
